Peniche
PINHALmar

The Fortress

If you come to Peniche, the fortress is definitely a must.

In the past, the Fortress of Peniche was the largest point of entry in Portugal by sea. Along its history, it had several and diverse uses. Today, it houses the City Museum.

From the fortress you can see magnificent views of the coast and Consolaçao beach.

Access to the fortress is free.
